This service is for professionals who do not provide a home sleep study from their own office. It includes mailing a home sleep study device to and from the patient, as well as interpretation, diagnosis, and a prescription when applicable.
You will need to designate which sleep study device you'd like us to send. Available options include:

If you are not intending to have insurance coverage for the patient, issue the HST to the patient. We prefer a minimum of two nights of studies.

Dr. Zelk does the consult, consultation notes, interpretation, LMN, and a prescription for treatment is secured from him or another MD licensed in the state where the patient lives.

The telemedicine consult is conducted by a board-certified MD, Dr. Joseph Zelk, or other board-certified MDs—either in-office or at home—based on patient needs.
These physicians work in partnership with Sleep Balance Academy (SBA) and the Air Institute, aligning with our mission to deliver care with reduced cost and complexity. This collaboration includes physicians, chiropractors, and dentists who are familiar with the newest combination therapies—treatments that many traditional sleep specialists have not yet adopted. This helps accelerate diagnosis and transition patients into effective treatment.
